　　I've been working in the inspiring world of textile design for 22 years. As a child I discovered a keen interest in drawing.  This was encouraged by family members who kept me well supplied with paints, pencils and paper. It was a natural progression to go on to study textile design at Stockport College of Art.

　　After completing my studies I joined John Wilman Ltd in 1993 where I really began to learn my craft in colour design and separation; as the whole creative process of developing a design was all done by hand back then.

　　Through the changing economic times our company became Wilman Interiors Ltd in 2006 when I then took on the role of Creative Design Director.
 
　　After many years I still find the textile industry fascinating and I absolutely love design, texture and colour and wouldn't dream of doing anything else.
